It's the beginning of a new month and a new week at Asylum Lake. The temperatures are getting warmer, things are starting to grow in earnest at Asylum Lake and this week there is new life at the lake! The geese have babies in tow! It's so wonderful to see them.
The proud parents are quite protective of their young, watching carefully over them, but sometimes allowing other geese and goslings close. They were swimming close to the shore and sometimes on shore trying to find food.

These parents and babies deserved a post of their own!
